Our History

Trinity Presbyterian Church was established in Springfield, Missouri in August 2015, with the intention of creating a church family rich in the blessings of joy, love, and learning. We are proudly and purposefully affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) denomination.

We were blessed with the friendship of our sister PC(USA) Church, Westminster Presbyterian, which graciously shared space with us during our first year and a half of worship. In the spring of 2017, we began a partnership with Brentwood Christian Church, a Disciples of Christ congregation in Springfield, Missouri.

In our earliest years, we have been blessed to welcome friends from many walks of life and many different faith journeys. From the beginning, our worship and study have been grounded in searching, learning, and questioning. Our missions have been focused on caring for the whole person and sharing Christ’s love with everyone, without requiring that they be like us or fit a certain mold.
