Assistive Listening Resources at Trinity

At Trinity Presbyterian, we believe in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our congregation, including those with hearing impairments. By offering assistive listening technology in our sanctuary, we ensure that everyone can fully participate in our worship services and sermons. This technology allows individuals with hearing difficulties to better engage with the message being shared and to feel connected to the community during our gatherings. Our commitment to providing assistive listening devices reflects our dedication to making our church a place where all individuals can come together to worship and grow in faith.

How to Get Started

We offer several options for accessing assistive listening resources at Trinity. Select the option that best fits your situation from the list below and follow the steps!

  • We offer portable assistive listening devices that can be used by anyone, with or without hearing aides. These devices come with a single-ear receiver that amplifies the audio from the speakers in the sanctuary. You can adjust the volume to our personal preference.

    TO USE: Before the service, go to our A/V desk in the back of the Sanctuary to pick up a receiver unit and ear-piece. Please return it following the service.

    NOTE: You may also bring your own headphones (any with a standard 1/8” plug) if you prefer.

  • We offer portable assistive listening devices that can be used by individuals with T-Loop Enabled Hearing Aides. These devices come with neck-loop, allowing you to wear them around your neck. You can adjust the volume to our personal preference.

    TO USE: Before the service, go to our A/V desk in the back of the Sanctuary to pick up a receiver unit and neck-loop. Please return it following the service.

  • If you have an iPhone or Android smartphone and EITHER Bluetooth-enabled hearing-aides OR your own headphones, you can use your smartphone to stream audio from the Sanctuary. This allows you to access audio discretely during the service.

    STEP ONE: Download the Listen Everywhere App to your smartphone

    STEP TWO: Connect to the WiFi network at Trinity. Visit the AV desk on your first Sunday using the system for help connecting.

    STEP THREE: Open the Listen Everywhere App to start streaming audio to your hearing-aides OR personal headphones.

Need More Help?

Feel free to ask our AV volunteers for help before the service. They can set up equipment and help with assistive listening devices so you can fully participate. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the worship service.
