Trinity Worship and Sunday School for January 9, 2022 - Officer Ordination and Communion

There are several important notes about worship this Sunday, and for the weeks to come:
Starting today and continuing at least through the month of January we will be holding worship via livestream broadcast only due to the current surge of COVID cases in Greene County. We hope this temporary protective measure is relatively short lived, but we feel it is necessary to guard the health of our congregation and broader community.
Today in worship we are celebrating the ordination and installation of new officers for our Trinity community. We are also celebrating communion, so please have bread and cup handy when you join the service via livestream.
Today is also our last Sunday worshiping in the Sanctuary before preparations begin for renovations. We will be live-streaming worship from the Chapel for the remainder of January. It is an exciting time, but one that will hold many transitions. Thank you in advance for your grace and flexibility!

On a personal note, I will be out of the office tomorrow (Monday, January 10) as Mary Erin and I travel to Kansas City for our next appointment with the team at Children's Mercy Hospital in preparation for our little one, who has a due date mid-March. We will be spending many hours meeting with a variety of specialists to make sure we are well prepared for our newest to make a safe entry into the world. If you have an urgent issue, please contact the church office and June will be happy to assist. I plan to be back in the office as usual on Tuesday.

During the current Omicron surge we are holding all of our Sunday morning groups via Zoom. We have two different Zoom links depending on which class you wish to join. Please find your class and select the appropriate link in the worship email.
