Trinity Worship - January 10, 2021 - Baptism of the Lord
As another week of crisis in our nation rolls over, I hope you are finding moments of rest and recovery. In worship this week I am reflecting on how our baptismal identity as members of Christ's family impacts our reaction to the violent insurrection at the Capitol this past Wednesday. We also spend time in prayer for our nation and the church, and we celebrate Communion - for we need the nourishment of Christ, especially in times of crisis.
While our national political situation is drawing much of our attention at the moment, there are still concrete needs here in our local community. I hope you will make plans to bring by donations tomorrow, Monday, January 11 from 10am to 1pm for our monthly Curbside Food Drive. This month we are focusing on non-perishable food items for Crosslines (no glass or expired items please), as donations typically drop off after the holidays, but the need does not. If you can't make it by tomorrow from 10-1, please reach out and we can setup another time during office hours for you to drop off your donation.
