Presbyterian Women of Trinity

July is a good time to look ahead to the coming fall and the beginning again of our Horizon Bible Study “United Through Christ, Bound to Each Other”. This will be studied in our Circle groups, but could also be used for personal study and reflection.

An order will be made July 20 for those who need the Bible Study book, so please let Susan Uffmann know if you would like to have one ordered for you as well. The cost is around $15, and ordering in bulk saves shipping and handling costs that are added with each order. The price will be determined upon arrival.

Circles:

Lydia – 1st Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Trinity, Liason: Susan Uffmann, 417-827-2487

Rachel – 2nd Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at various locations, Liason: Betty Crewe, 760-814-0038

Rebecca – 2nd Tuesday, 2:30 p.m. at Trinity, Liason: Jan Redfern, 417-225-2435

Sarah – 2nd Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Trinity, Liason: Brenda Kane, 417-773-5583

If interested in joining a Circle, or needing to change day or time you attend, please contact any of the Circle liasons listed.

SUPPORT TRINITY PW

If you haven’t donated yet, this is a reminder to make your contribution. As our moderator and others clearly state, “If you are a woman and if you are a Presbyterian, then you are a member of Presbyterian Women.” Welcome.

Make checks to Trinity Presbyterian Women and give or send to treasurer Gail Tombleson, 2717 W. Trevor Trail, Ozark, MO 65721

YEAH! IT IS A GO!

*** REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO AUGUST 1. ***

A couple of things added:

MONDAY NIGHT

Ladies Night Out – 7 – 8:30 p.m. (following dinner) will be a time to relax and enjoy some fun and fellowship together.

TUESDAY MORNING

Taney County Crisis Center – a past PW Birthday Offering recipient will give a short power point on this organization and how important Presbyterian Women is to them. The presenter wrote the grant application and is now the executive director.

Office Volunteers and Subs Needed

Our friends at Brentwood have been providing MOST of the Welcome Desk coverage for the last 18 months, with a few gaps. We have offered to try to fill those gaps as we are able. Shifts are three hours long (9:00 a.m. to Noon, Noon to 3:00 p.m.), and involve answering the phone, opening the door, and general office tasks as needed. Most of the time you will be idle and able to focus on a task or book you bring from home. You can sign up to work specific shifts every week, once a month, or on specific days that work best for you.

Regular openings are on Mondays and Wednesdays, from Noon to 3:00 p.m. We would also like to develop a list of substitute Welcome Desk volunteers, folks that can be called when one of the regularly scheduled volunteers (on any shift, Monday through Thursday) cannot fill the shift.

Please contact Rev. Alyssa in the church office (office@trinityspringfieldpcusa.org, 417-450-2544) for more information or to be added to the schedule.
