Remaining Connected - August 17, 2020

Last Thursday I mailed a letter to the Trinity family discussing our response to the pandemic and looking forward to our life together in the months to come.  Tap here to read the letter.  As part of the letter, I asked each member of the Trinity family to take some time and complete a survey about your experiences. If you haven't taken the survey yet, could you find 10 or so minutes today to share your feedback with our leadership?  Tap here to get started.  Your feedback is important to us as we plan for the months to come.  The survey will remain open until Monday, August 31.

I also want to let you know that there will be two important updates in this week's Thursday Newsletter -- one about our mission work and one about our pandemic response -- so, stay tuned!  If you don't regularly receive the newsletter, tap here to add your name to the list!

Finally, note that there are updates to three items below: our 21-Day Racial Justice Challenge, the Four and More Bible Study, and our Adult Summer Study Series with Pastor Chris.

Here are some ways you can connect with your Trinity family this week online:

Social Media Scripture - Daily
Each day I'll be sharing, via our social media channels, a verse or two of scripture from the daily lectionary along with a one or two sentence reflection. These aren't sermons, just a quick mid-day reflection on God's Word.  I hope you'll hop on FacebookTwitter (@trinitysgfpcusa), or Instagram (@trinitysgfpcusa) and check out the posts, join the conversation, and share with your friends and family.

21-Day Racial Justice Challenge - Update!
We are in the last week of our 21-Day Racial Justice Challenge! If you haven't had a chance to take part yet, head on over to our antiracism website and take a look. This Sunday (August 23): Pastor Chris will be leading a recap discussion of the challenge during our adult study time (find the link below for that gathering), so even if you haven't joined our summer study discussions before, this is a great week to join the conversation.  You can learn all about our antiracism program here: https://trinityspringfieldpcusa.org/racism

Coffee & Conversation - Tuesdays from 2pm to 3pm
Drop in for a casual chat with Pastor Chris; think of it as open office hours.  If you've not stopped by before, why not this week?  I'd love to hear how things are going in your life.
