Extended Worship - November 22, 2020 - Christ the King Sunday
Today is Christ the King Sunday! As we conclude the cycle of the church year, we celebrate the reign of Jesus as our Savior. To mark the occasion, we have a powerful sermon by the Presbytery Executive from Giddings-Lovejoy (the St. Louis area), the Rev. Dr. Craig Howard. His reflections are timely and moving; I know you will be blessed by his words.
As we prepare for Advent, which begins next Sunday, we are passing out Advent Kits today and tomorrow! (if you missed my video introduction to these, take a look) Please come by church today (Sunday the 22nd) from 3pm to 5pm or tomorrow (Monday the 23rd) from 10am to Noon. If you can't make it by during those times please reach out; we can find another time for you to pick up your kit OR we have volunteers ready to bring your kit to you. We want everyone to take part.
Please remember: we have a Congregational Meeting today at 11:30am for all Active Members of Trinity. Those members have received their packets by both email and postal mail, but if you have any questions please email or call me directly.
Please also remember: November is Pledge Month at Trinity. Throughout the month we will be hearing from Trinity members about our Pledge Campaign and why they pledge.
