Trinity Newsletter for April 13, 2023
From Pastor Chris
He is risen! He is risen, indeed!
Our Easter celebrations at Trinity this past Sunday were truly joy-filled. From amazing music from our choir, guest musicians, and amazing music staff to the delightful cookie bags from our Welcome & Fellowship Committee, it was a wonderful day with our Trinity family. Thank you to everyone who played a role in making the start of the Easter season fantastic.
Over the coming weeks I will be sending dedicated emails to our church family on a few important topics. I want to highlight them here so you can be on the lookout for more information soon:
As I make final preparations for my sabbatical, which will take place over the months of May, June, and July, I am pleased to share the three pastors who will be helping lead Trinity in worship while I am away. You will be blessed by wonderful sermons from Rev. Barry Williams, Rev. Bill Havens, and Rev. Dennis Winzenried -- plus two Sundays with special guests in the pulpit -- look for more details next week.
Starting this Sunday, Trinity is transitioning our online video service (which we use for our online and hybrid meetings) from Zoom to RingCentral Video. This change will reduce our ongoing technology costs while improving the service we are able to provide. If you take part in any Trinity online or hybrid meetings, be sure to read the email or web post that will be shared later today.
Over the next two weeks I will be very focused on making sure everything is in place so the next few months at Trinity go as smoothly as possible. However, if you have any pastoral needs, or just want to chat, please do reach out! I'd love to chat.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Chris

Adult Class offerings:
Studying the Word- (formerly the Lectionary Class), meets in the Trinity Room. Participants can attend in person or by Zoom. Together we read scripture and apply its wisdom to our lives. We’d love for all interested in learning more about the Bible, one passage at a time, to join us. All our welcome! Contact person: Susan Holiday
Topical Discussions Fellowship- adult learners of all ages meet in the Fellowship Hall. With good coffee and fresh treats from the class members, we strive to discuss a variety of topics relevant to our religion in today’s society. Topics last year included: Immigration in the US, The Apostles’ Creed by Pastor Adam Hamilton, and Christmas in the Four Gospel Homes. We hope you will join us for fellowship and discussion. Contact: Dave Muegge
SALT - a casual class in a discussion format. Studies are chosen with a focus on material that can be engaged in with little preparation. We share in leading lessons based on participant comfort level. Come when you can, no experience required! SALT meets in Room 17. Contact: Amy Price
Four and More- this Bible Study has this name from meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesdays... presently by Zoom.
