Extended Worship - July 5, 2020

July 5 2020 Worship Email.png

I hope you are staying safe and well this holiday weekend.  During worship today we have a beautiful anthem reflecting on our nation, some moving hymns, and a sermon where we consider "no-win" situations.  I also have an exciting update about our Curbside Food Drive from this past Monday; check out our worship video for more details!

Thank you for being part of the Trinity family; if there are ways that Trinity and I can be a good support to you this week please don't hesitate to reach out.

Our weekly children's sermon is now part of our full worship service.

  • Click Here for a guide on talking to kids about how we welcome those different than us.

  • Click Here for an article from PBS for Parents: How to Talk Honestly With Children About Racism. (This is a repeat from last week, but a very good resource!)

Music for Social Distancing
Each week our staff will be sharing some music that is bringing them joy.  Some may relate to the sermon, others are just music for the times.  You can click here for the full playlist.  Here are this week's picks:

This week's songs from Chris:

  • Bugler's Holiday by Leroy Anderson - I don't think it's possible for me to listen to this piece and not have a smile on my face by the end.  Or flashbacks to high school any my attempts to play it...

  • Those Who Trust by Waterdeep - This paraphrase of scripture begins "Those who trust in the Lord are a strong mountain!"
