Today is the day! We need your help to provide meals to members of the homeless community currently sheltering in hotels here in Springfield. Learn how you can help with this vital ministry of Trinity. We will be collecting donations TODAY, Monday, June 29 from 10am to 1pm and again from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. This past weekend the 224th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) concluded its work. GA was held as a shortened, virtual assembly this year due to the pandemic, considering only "essential business" and postponing most decisions until 2022. Linked in the congregational email is a PDF summary of the work of the assembly, including details on our new Co-Moderators, the re-election of our Stated Clerk, and the denomination's affirmation that Black lives matter.

Each day I'll be sharing, via our social media channels, a verse or two of scripture from the daily lectionary along with a one or two sentence reflection. These aren't sermons, just a quick mid-day reflection on God's Word.
