Extended Worship - August 30, 2020
In worship this week we celebrate and pray for our students, teachers, and all educational staff as this most unusual school year begins. If you are a student or involved in the education system in any way, I encourage you to have your backpack (or whatever you use) handy - we will be blessing our backpacks during the service. We are also pleased to welcome the Shannon family as they share our anthem today and Sam Garvin as our liturgist. The many gifts of the Trinity family and friends are such a blessing!
Two quick reminders. First, if you haven't yet sent in your survey about Trinity's response to the pandemic, there is still time. We will be accepting responses through the end of the day tomorrow, Monday, August 31. Click here to get started. If you have any questions please reply to this email or give me or the office a call.
Second, starting this Wednesday I will be hosting a new event: Wednesdays on the Lawn. This is an opportunity for us to gather in-person for a time of conversation and fellowship. There are six opportunities to attend: September 2, 9, and 16 at 10:00am or 6:30pm. To make sure we are being as safe as possible, we will be following a few precautions:
We will be gathering outside under the shade tree (SW corner of the building, outside the kids classroom) or under the covered walkway leading to the West / Trinity doors to church. If weather is bad we will reschedule.
Masking and physical distancing will be required.
Please bring your own lawn / camp chair or picnic blanket. If you need a chair, let me know.
Attendance is limited to 15 individuals at each gathering (90 spots across all six gatherings). To help with this, an RSVP is required. Click here to RSVP online, or reply to this email or give me a call and I'll get you on the list.
