Support Trinity on #GivingTuesday and Beyond

If you're like me, you've likely gotten a flurry of emails from a range of non-profits today reminding you it's Giving Tuesday, the now near-ubiquitous day for supporting non-profits and community work amid the holiday shopping season. While I do sincerely hope you will consider making a special contribution to Trinity today to support our mission and ministry in the name of Jesus Christ, I also want to encourage you to prayerfully consider your engagement with generosity beyond today.

When you participate in the financial life of Trinity -- whether through a one-time gift, a repeating gift, or a pledge -- you are empowering our common work. Thanks to the generosity of the Trinity family in the past we are able to confidently face the future with abundant hope.

When I was younger I always had good intentions of supporting the church financially, but as a new teacher in a small town there was often more month than money. It wasn't until I made the decision to pledge, and then setup a repeating gift, that I was able to make my good intentions a reality. Making a formal commitment, then putting into place a plan to help me follow through, made all the difference.

Wherever you are on the generosity journey, I hope you will prayerfully consider your involvement in our financial life here at Trinity. If you've never given before, maybe today is the day to make your first gift. If you give sometimes, maybe today is the day you setup a repeating gift. If you give regularly but haven't ever pledged, maybe today is the day to you pledge your support for 2023. If you pledge, maybe today is the day you share with someone else why it's important to you.

Trinity is a generous congregation, and I am so grateful for the ways you have been part of that work in the past. If you have already pledged for 2023, thank you in advance for your continued participation in our financial life.
