I have a big update for you today!  Our congregation-wide study of the powerful book No Innocent Bystanders begins this week, and I hope you will take part. Here are some key details:

Study Books
If you haven't yet picked up your complimentary copy of No Innocent Bystanders, don't worry!  We still have plenty of copies for you.  Just email Pastor Chris and let me know when you'd like to come by and pick up your copy.  We can also arrange to have a volunteer drop off a book at your home.  We want EVERYONE to be able to take part, so let us know how we can help make it happen!

Study Gatherings
We have three weekly gatherings where we will be learning together; two in-person and one via Zoom.  Our in-person gatherings are Wednesdays at 10am and 2pm, starting this week (Oct 28) and running for four weeks (through Nov 18). Please email Pastor Chris to RSVP for these gatherings.

Our Zoom discussion group will take place on Thursdays at 6pm, starting this Thursday (Oct 29) and running for four weeks (through Nov 19).  No RSVP is needed, simply join the call at 6pm:

A Note on Masks
Thanks to everyone who has already ordered our "Trinity Cares" masks in support of our mission partners at Rare Breed.  Carla is distributing orders this week; you can pick them up from the church office on Wednesday from 10am to 3pm or from Carla at the West entryway on Thursday from 9am to Noon.

If you haven't already ordered a mask, not to worry.  We have some remaining for $10 each, so just email Carla (carlaw@trinityspringfieldpcusa.org) and she will get you sorted!

I'm glad you're part of the Trinity family; if I can be a support to you please reach out.  I'd be delighted to spend some time in conversation.

Here are some other ways you can connect with your Trinity family this week:

Social Media Scripture
Throughout the week I'll be sharing, via our social media channels, a verse or two of scripture from the daily lectionary along with a one or two sentence reflection.  These aren't sermons, just a quick mid-day reflection on God's Word. I hope you'll hop on FacebookTwitter (@trinitysgfpcusa), or Instagram(@trinitysgfpcusa) and check out the posts, join the conversation, and share with your friends and family.

Four and More Bible Study - Wednesdays at 4:00pm
Join Rev. Jane Huffstetler for this weekly journey through scripture.
