Trinity Worship - January 24, 2021 - Responding to Matthew 25
This week in worship we are joining with Presbyterian churches around the country and celebrating the work of the Matthew 25 initiative. Through the work of Matthew 25, our denomination has focused our efforts across the nation in building vital and vibrant congregations, ending structural racism, and eradicating systemic poverty. This service reflects on our journey, celebrates our successes, and gives us hope for the work to come. Featuring national staff and the co-moderators of the General Assembly, I know you will be blessed by this service. There is also a PDF liturgy you can download if you want to follow along or learn more.
Please mark your calendars for our Annual Congregational Meeting. It will be held next Sunday, January 31 at 11:30am via Zoom. In the coming week all active members of Trinity will receive further information about the meeting via email and/or postal mail. Please check the newsletter for more information and contact myself or the church office with questions.
Thank you for being part of the Trinity family.

Music for Social Distancing
Each week our staff will be sharing some music that is bringing them joy. Some may relate to the sermon, others are just music for the times. You can click herefor the full playlist. Here are this week's recommendations:
How Great Thou Art by Celtic Worship - The classic hymn arranged by the Scottish worship group; a version I find myself coming back to often.
Be Kind to Yourself by Andrew Peterson - The other day I was chatting with a friend, who also happens to be a parent of young kids, and we were reflecting on how hard it is being a parent in ministry amid a pandemic. After the call I kept coming back to the key line from this Andrew Peterson song: Be Kind to Yourself. I need to hear it sometimes; maybe you do too.
Sound the Trumpet with Alison Balsom - I came across this captivating exploration of Baroque trumpet, and it brought me such joy I knew I needed to share it with you all!
