Trinity Worship - May 23, 2021 - Pentecost Sunday
You're getting our weekly worship update a bit early this week so you can plan how you want to participate with Trinity this Pentecost weekend! We have two worship opportunities for you this weekend: one in-person and one online. As always, our online service is available for you to watch on your schedule.

I am also delighted to invite you to a special, in-person worship service! We will join with our friends at Brentwood tomorrow, Sunday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. on the Front Lawn for a wonderful service. There will be a joint dialogue sermon with the three pastors, music from both congregations (including a special musical gift from some of our youth), and special opportunities for our kids. I really hope you can join us for this service.
For our in-person service please remember to bring a lawn / camp chair and wear red for Pentecost!
Here are a few other important notes about this weekend:
Our online Zoom Sunday school will take place at 9:30 a.m. to allow time for discussion and then travel to church for the 11:00 a.m. service. Our SALT class will be meeting in-person at 10am at Trinity under the West Portico.
We plan to record the in-person service and make that available as soon as possible.
As always, outdoor events are weather permitting. Watch your email (and our social media) for updates, especially if the weather looks wet.
Masking is now optional at outdoor events (per recent CDC guidance). Masking is always welcomed, but when we are outside it is now at your discretion.
Please also remember that for a couple more weeks we are collecting the Pentecost Special Offering, which supports work with children, youth, and young adults both here at Trinity and around the nation. 20% supports Trinity youth going to Montreat this summer, 20% supports Rare Breed, and 60% supports national programs for children, youth, and young adults. You can give now to this important offering or send a check to Trinity with "Pentecost Offering" in the memo line.
Thank you for being part of the Trinity family.
