Trinity Worship - May 16, 2021 - Love in Times of Transition
Tap Here to Participate in Worship
This week in worship we continue our exploration of love as we look at how Jesus loves us in times of transition and hardship; and how we can do the same. As always, our service also is filled with beautiful music, including a pair of wonderfully talented trombonists from MSU (we have been serving as a host site for online recitals over the past few weeks and we are grateful to be able to share these talented musicians with you!).
As you hopefully have heard by now, we decided on Friday to reschedule our Front Lawn Festival due to weather. Instead of this afternoon we will gather onSunday, June 13 at 4:00pm for our Front Lawn Festival. I can't wait to spend time in fellowship with you!
We are also delighted to be joining our friends from Brentwood next week (May 23) for Pentecost Sunday! We will have an in-person, joint service at 11:00am on the front lawn. Bring your lawn chair for this time of worship featuring a dialogue sermon with the three pastors, music from Trinity and Brentwood, and a time to celebrate our graduates.
Please also remember that for a couple more weeks we are collecting the Pentecost Special Offering, which supports work with children, youth, and young adults both here at Trinity and around the nation. 20% supports Trinity youth going to Montreat this summer, 20% supports Rare Breed, and 60% supports national programs for children, youth, and young adults. You can give now to this important offering or send a check to Trinity with "Pentecost Offering" in the memo line.
Thank you for being part of the Trinity family.
