Weekend With the Covenant Network
This weekend Trinity is hosting a number of special events with our partners at the Covenant Network of Presbyterians as we explore how to best live into our calling to welcome, support, and love our siblings in the LGBTQIA+ community. I hope you will make time to be part of some or all of these events! All of the events this weekend are free with no registration needed, so come by in-person or online! Here's the schedule for the weekend, and how to take part.
Keynote Presentation: How Welcoming Are We? Living Into Celebrating All God's People
Saturday, 9/25 at 4:00pm
This engaging presentation will focus on how our church community can be intentionally welcoming of the LGBTQIA+ community. There will be concrete examples of steps we all can take, along with ample time for questions and discussion.
How to take part:
In-Person: The presentation will take place in the Sanctuary at Trinity. Please arrive by 3:55. Masking will be required of all in-person attendees.
Livestream Broadcast: The presentation will be broadcast via our YouTube channel (just as we do for Sunday Worship). Tap the link below to open the livestream. If you aren't able to watch right at 4:00pm, don't worry. The same link will take you to the recording following the event.
Adult Education Class: So Much Left to Do: The Journey of Affirming LGBTQIA+ People in the Church

This class will talk about the journey of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the broader church in celebrating the lives of all God's people and their gifts for ministry. We'll talk about the way forward and how each of us can contribute to a more faithful witness to equity and hospitality.
How to take part:

Sunday Worship

Rev. Brian Ellison will join us for worship and will offer the sermon for the day, entitled "Creative Accounting."
All-Church Picnic
Sunday, 9/26 at 1:00pm / following worship
Brian will be with us for our all-church picnic and will be available for informal conversations around any of the topics discussed in his presentations.
