Extended Worship - October 18, 2020
Happy Sunday! Today in worship we've got some special guest musicians - Casey and Aiden Morriss (son and grandson of Todd and Kathy) - along with Julia Gentle as our liturgist, Reed sharing some wisdom from cats, and of course amazing music from Carla and Robert.
Two quick reminders. First, our youth are selling "Trinity Cares" reusable cloth face masks. Masks are $10/mask, with $4.55 of each sale going to support our mission partners at Rare Breed. You can order your mask online, and even sign up to have it mailed right to you (just cover the postage). Click here to order your mask. If you have any question, please reach out to Carla.
Second, we're getting ready for a congregation-wide study of the powerful bookNo Innocent Bystanders. We are going to be exploring why we need to be allies in the struggle for justice and how we can participate in faithful ways. This study is so important our Mission & Public Witness Committee has purchased a complimentary copy of the book for each Trinity household. Come get yours today, Monday, or Tuesday at Trinity during the following times:
Sunday, October 18 from 10:30am to 12:30pm
Monday, October 19 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Tuesday, October 20 from 11:00am to 1:00pm
I'll be at the Trinity / West door at church handing out the books; I look forward to seeing you soon!
Thank you for being part of the Trinity family. If there are ways I can be a support to you this week, please reach out.

Music for Social Distancing
Each week our staff will be sharing some music that is bringing them joy. Some may relate to the sermon, others are just music for the times. You can click here for the full playlist. Here are this week's picks:
This week's songs from Chris:
And Can It Be That I Should Gain by Charles Wesley - I missing singing each week with you all, and finding great hymns to share in the email isn't quite the same, but this congregation does lift my spirit with their singing of this classic.
Saint-Saens "Organ" Symphony Finale arr by Jonathan Scott - There is something both stirring and relaxing about a wonderfully played pipe organ, and this is wonderful indeed!
Today Is The Saviour's Day by Rend Collective - Fair warning, this is a Christmas song. When Rend Collective announced recently they were working on a soon-to-be-released album of Irish Christmas music, I was delighted. When they shared a sneak-preview on YouTube, I knew I had to share it with you all. Maybe I just needed a reminder that Christmas is coming!
