Remaining Connected - October 19, 2020

It certainly feels like fall has arrived in Springfield the last few days.  As a friend of mine shared, "It's Crock-Pot Season!"  However you find joy in the cooler days, I hope you find many opportunities to enjoy those moments.

It was great seeing so many of you yesterday as I passed out copied of No Innocent Bystanders for our congregation-wide study.  You can learn more here about the study (including dates and times), and if you weren't able to make it by yesterday - no worries!  I'll be handing out books again TODAY (Monday, Oct 19) from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Trinity entrance to church, and then again TOMORROW (Tuesday, Oct 20) from 11:00am to 1:00pm.  These books are a complimentary resources provided by our Mission & Public Witness Committee so that everyone in the Trinity family can engage in the study.

I'm glad you're part of the Trinity family; if I can be a support to you please reach out.  I'd be delighted to spend some time in conversation.

Here are some ways you can connect with your Trinity family this week:

Social Media Scripture
Throughout the week I'll be sharing, via our social media channels, a verse or two of scripture from the daily lectionary along with a one or two sentence reflection.  These aren't sermons, just a quick mid-day reflection on God's Word. I hope you'll hop on FacebookTwitter (@trinitysgfpcusa), or Instagram(@trinitysgfpcusa) and check out the posts, join the conversation, and share with your friends and family.
