Holy Week Services at Trinity
Maundy Thursday (6:00pm, Thursday, April 14, Fellowship Hall)
On Maundy Thursday the church remembers the last evening Jesus shared with his disciples in the upper room before his arrest and crucifixion. Just as Jesus gathered that night around table, so we will gather around tables to share a simple meal of homemade soup and bread, followed by a service of communion. This intergenerational event is a great way for all ages to participate in Holy Week.
Good Friday (7:00pm, Friday, April 15, Fellowship Hall)
Good Friday marks the death of Jesus Christ. It’s called “good” because of what Jesus’ death means for the redemption of the world. We will gather to hear the gospel account of Jesus' passion and offer our prayers for a world in need of redemption.
Easter Sunday (11:30am, Sunday, April 17, Sanctuary)
All the hopes and expectations of Christians are realized in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, making Easter the most joy-filled day of the church year. Join your Trinity family as we celebrate the day in the newly remodeled Sanctuary! With wonderful music, joyful fellowship, and communion, this is a service you won't want to miss.
Please note that while our Palm / Passion Sunday and Easter Sunday services will be live-streamed as usual, we will not be offering a broadcast version of Maundy Thursday or Good Friday. This is due to the time needed to move our equipment into the sanctuary and preform tests prior to Easter worship; thank you for your understanding.
